| Thomas Masters Thomas Masters represents internationally renowned artists Melinda Stickney-Gibson, Jon Langford, and Stasys, as well as former graffiti artist and emerging talent Dzine. A singer/songwriter and painter, Masters moved to New York City in the mid-1970s. He produced recordings, toured the U.S., and backed up such acts as the Ramones, the Stranglers, the B52's, Iggy Pop, and Robert Fripp. In 1985, he returned to Chicago to pursue art full-time. He opened his Old Town gallery, outside the established River North and West Loop districts, in 1993. In his own work, Masters often creates total aesthetic environments of music and paintings.
